My name is Laura. I am a Northville, Michigan based Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Health Coach.
This is the first question most people ask. I am assuming if you are here it is because you have not reached your fitness goals. I provide the motivation and accountability that you need to reach those goals. Maybe you have a few extra pounds to lose....maybe more. Perhaps you would like to be stronger or more aerobically fit. You may be training for a specific event like a triathlon, 5K, or a full or half marathon. Maybe you have recently had a baby and want to get back in shape. You might be rehabbing a back, knee, or shoulder injury. I have experience with very diverse clients. My clients have ranged from 11 years old to 79 years old. They range from athletes looking to improve performance to overweight, deconditioned, non-exercisers. How can I help you?
I will show you what to do. How to do it. Which exercises will be most effective to reach your goals. I will keep you safe and show you proper form. I will push you. I will motivate you. I will tell you how much and how long you need to work out aerobically so you train smarter instead of harder. I will coach you on your diet and maintaining healthy eating habits. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Health Coach, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor with over 12 years of experience. Over the years I have worked with a wide variety of clients: the fit athlete that is looking to take their workout to the next level, those with special needs such as Multiple Sclerosis, Type II diabetes, breast cancer survivors, obese clients, knee replacement, post cardiac, and pre/post-natal clients. I've worked with clients that just needed to get off those stubborn 10 pounds. I've worked with a client that lost over 130 pounds - and many others in between.
